I suppose the volksagon golf may have been a decent car at one time, but the car I thought I was buying on E-Bay turned into a very different car as represented. The car leaks water into the inside, the headliner is now stained and sagging, leaks oil,the check engine light goes on and off, electric mirrors don't work, heated seats don't work,A/C works about 50% of the time, etc. You get the picture--a real lemon. I contacted E-Bay, the seller and unless the repairs to the engione exceed $1500.00 there is no recourse; electrical, leaks, etc NOT covered. I would suggest either avoiding this model of VW or avoiding purchasing from the seller that I purchased this car from. If you do feel pressed to buy A VW 2000 or newer--buy locally; do not buy off E-Bay as you have zero protections against lemons. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

The car was described to be in mint mechanical condition. The does not shift, the cd player was just stuck in the dash not wired up. The car shakes and wobbles violently. I payed for this thing via paypal in advance drove 400 miles one way to trailer it home. I got it home and this was what I had. I tried to communicate with the seller and there only response was they were sorry that I didn't like the car but it was sold as is. I would have never bought the car if it wasn't described to be in mint mechanical condition. I have bought many vehicles on e-bay and this is the second time I have dealt with someone less than honest. This will be my last purchase from this site. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I love this car!! Simple as that. I had been looking around the Atlanta area and decided to see what Ebay had to offer, found this one just one state up in TN. The guys responded very fast to my comments and questions. They had all the paper work ready for when I drove up. Signed the paper work and headed home. Certainly was apprehensive about getting such a large purchase via Ebay - but well worth the anxiety I put upon myself. Dealers were cool and laid back - very easy going.
