I won a bid for a 1992 Saab 900 S vehicle from a car dealership in New Jersey listed on Ebay. This seller presently has my money for a vehicle which he is unable to provide the additional documentation required by MVA in both the states of NY and NJ to title this car in New York. This seller is currently hiding behind and using Ebay's buyers contractual obligation to follow through with the purchase of an item, regardless of whether or not he can produce and or provide the documentation required by law. Ebay has been of absolutely useless in assisting me in getting this resolve. Presently I am in the process of pursuing legal recourse to get my money back from this seller.
Though I'm sure there are many sellers who are above board on Ebay, I want to make sure that people are aware that there are people on Ebay who have no intention of being honest or forthright with the items they are presently for sale on this site. Also it is quite apparent that Ebay does not do their Due Diligence as to the business reputations of a lot of the people who are selling big ticket items on their site. Be aware that Ebay will offer little to no assistance to you as the buyer in getting these type of problems resolved and that you may encounter sellers on this site who seek to take advantage of ding business with people on the internet, offer inferior products and attempt to take your money and run. It will be left to you to get the problem resolved for yourself with absolutely no help from Ebay. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

Hard to imagine needing "thousands of dollars" in repairs for a $500 car. Awww....poor baby. In the real world, a $500 car is the bottom of the food chain. You got exactly what you paid for: An old car with some problems. Cars with no problems are found at the dealership and cost "thousands". Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I bought this car two weeks ago and I was really pleased on the condition. I learned to love Saabs for their reliability and old school appearance. Once I saw this one in burgundy, I just had to have it. The exterior is close to immaculate and the interior is in a really good condition. The hatchback makes it very spacious for its size. It has manual transmission but even today it responds well, has a good grab and feels reliable. It had little over 110 000 miles when I got it. It takes a bit of brain exercise to convert the speed to miles/hr since it has a metric speedometer. The seat heating does not work nor the AC and the rear muffler had to be replaced. Other than that, this car even with some minor flaws is a great car and whoever owned it before took great care of it. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
