What a Great Car! It has huge power, incredible craftsmanship and it is a delight to drive. Currently, I get between 17 and 22mpg in town and I have gotten 27 on the road at 70mph. I have four other Mercedes: One had 454,000 (190E, 2.6), an E320, an E36, and an S320 -- Surprisingly, the S320 gets the best mileage; it can pull in 34 on the freeway at 70mph.
The CL600 is a remarkable car and currently they are an absolute bargain, given the care with which they are crafted as well as the unbelievable quality of the materials used in the cabin. The engine and transmission work flawlessly, and it seems as if it is powered by a turbine. Great Car! Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

Wonderful car! Except that the active body control (ABC) that debuted on this vehicle will almost always have problems. When the car is parked it will start to lose pressure in one canister or another meaning it will look silly and lopsided when parked. Had it inspected and apparently specs of dust in the ABC cylinders can cause blockage and loss of pressure, was quoted $2,000-$3,000 to fix each hydraulic damper so you are looking at significant money to fix it if you're buying an early car in the $20k-$30k range. Do a search on the issue and it should turn up more information. However, the car does still run and drive properly even with this issue (so far). Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
