First off to the other poster if you have 'axles that twist' you have an extremely serious issue with your car, and you should not be driving it, or driving at all guessing from your level of knowledge.

They are good overall and like all cars have issues that affect all of them. If your going to add very much power definitely looking hardened ring gears and a tranny rebuild, because third gear has a tendency to explode with with a lot strain.

Back seat is a bit too small and only mildly comfortable on short trips, definitely no long distance travel with adults in the back.

Don't fall for the 'these cars will run for 250k miles' scam.
Any car that is WELL TAKEN CARE OF, CAN run forever. Don't be fooled into thinking a car, any car, that is driven hard, has high mileage, or has been neglected.will run for a long time with out major repair.

i love my mx6. it has great speed. myn has the axels the twist when you accelerate. so you can't burn out but it gives a great pull.

My MX-6GT runs very strong - the turbo spools up quickly and provides more power than I need. Transmission shifts are somewhat abrupt, but this is not electronically controlled shifting. Ride is adjustable from soft to sport, and handling is tight. Front seats are comfortable. Sunroof rattles sometimes. Windshield washer dash light stays on. Power windows slow in winter. Overall a good running, fun, reliable car. I once had a 626GT that I loved so when I saw this MX6 for sale I couldn't resist it.
