Most popular MG T Series for sale

I fell in love with the TD as a teenager about 40 years ago when they were popular in the British colony where I grew up. It has been my "daily routine" for the past 10 years to check out the TD's available on eBay and elsewhere on the internet. I bought my TD recently on eBay after a few short email & telephone exchanges with the owner, and I visited the owner to conclude the financial transaction. Overall, I feel that I purchased a car in better shape than expected. It's a dream come true to have a car that is as old as me!

I love the long snout, sweeping front fenders, crank handle (to start it if the battery is weak), separate headlamps, airiness, and overall simplicity of these cars. It attracted many people at a car show recently - because of its simplicity and elegance. I am yet to become very familiar with it and enjoy it on the highway in the same manner that I enjoy driving my 1971 MGB that I purchased 7 years ago to give me something to do while waiting for my TD - the B has worked well even as a daily driver.

I recall a Honda scooter slogan in the 60s' - "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" - in like manner one can truly say that you meet some of the nicest people in and around MG cars!

This car had been a lifelong wish. The people I bought it from on EBAY were fabulous. I paid a fair price and the car was as advertised. They were some of the nicest people I ever met! Driving this car is like going back in time to a simpler and more honest way of life. The car sounds like a real sports car, handles like it was on rails and just makes you feel good to drive in it. It is a hobby car, so it will always need tinkering and it would be nice to have a good mechanic nearby for the big stuff. In the mean time I am trying to learn all I can from books and dvd's.

I love my car. The owner we purchased it from was wonderful, he restored the car and did a nice job. Plus the price was excellent. The fellow was terrific to deal with and honest.
It beats the one 60 chev. corvette we were going to bid on that was a hoax.
All in all it went well. We did have a problem with the transporation company that ebay listed. It took them over a month and several phone calls from us.
The folks that drove the car out were terrific. I wish I'd known them and I would have skipped the trans. company.
