2007 Honda Ridgeline: Very easy Horsepower The Honda Ridgeline is an incredible truck! I've put three thousand miles on mine now, and am getting 26 mpg. average. The truck has a stock 247 hp engine. I like trucks to be a little more stout. A K+N Air system, a new chip from Mugen, a freer flowing exhaust system from Borla, and some intake polishing has the horsepower up to about 300. It is a reliable, great handling, rocket. However, if you really need a work truck, this isn't the one. The bed just isn't long enough at 5 1/2 feet. The under bed storage area is neat, but not really as secure as I would like it to be. Oh, and you have to remove the head rests as the rear vision is nil with them in place. Safety hazard removing them? I'll take my chances with the increased rear vision. Incidentally, I bought the truck because my son is an oysterman and badly needed my 98 Ford Ranger. Didn't want to buy a new one, but one drive and I signed up. A pleasure to get into it every time. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I really enjoyed driving this truck back from Florida with my daughter. It rides reaaly nice like a car. I live in South Dakota and we just had a really good old fashioned blizzard and the truck preformed flawlessly. At the intersections where ice covered streets are a problem when you want to go it just takes off no wheel spinning knob twisting or anything really nice. I really enjoy the large trunk in the back of the bed a really nice touch. The heated leather seats are just the thing to keep the cold winter at bay. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

Overall, I would recommend a Honda Ridgeline. They are very nice vehicles. Unfortunately, the person I bought it from wanted to get rid of it quick (deployed overseas), and he failed to tell me about the condition of the car such as dents, holes in the body, and horrible condition of the interior. He has three kids, and looked like every time they were all in it, there was a food fight! Otherwise, I like the car, but sold it as soon as I bought it, just because of the condition, and disappointment with my experience with the seller.
Key to the story, before spending a lot of money for a car on ebay, see it FIRST. Also, always do a carfax/autocheck. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
