After 1995, the Taurus and Sable Cars became fairly good vehicles for the money.After about 80,000 miles, about 1 in 4 develops a head gasket leak, but can usually be repaired with liquid glass. About 1 in 10 develop a transmission problem, which cost more to repair than the vehicle is worth. If they are free of these two problems, they are generally a very good car FOR THE MONEY.
