The seller (Matt Pons) should be ashamed of himself for even listing the 1968 Mustang convertible I bought from him on ebay. I don't know what my legal actions are at this point, or what actions ebay can take on my behalf, but I know why he wanted cash or a cashiers check up front before he released the car. I should have used pay pal or a credit card, then I would have had some kind of recourse. My fault for not doing a personal inspection of the car, but people should not be allowed to sell junk on ebay. This cannot be restored and it is "not" a project car. It has been rat infested, there is no solid metal on the car, it left a trail of rust from Massachusetts to Utah, the delivery driver got a kick out of that. The only monetary value of this car is the engine, convertible top motor and a few chrome pieces. No brakes on the car. Can't even get the wheels off to repair, they are rusted together. I'm very disappointed with the seller!! Lubing and repair in the back yard will not be opportunities. If Mr.Pons has any conscience at all, he will refund at least 1/2 of my money $6,766 plus $1,000 shipping = $3,800. I don't know where he finds these cars, but they are not worth restoring. (he has another Mustang convertible listed right now, with the same verbage, he is looking for cash again. Listing #200099174492. He has excellent ratings for selling baseball cards, it looks as though he just started in the car business. I am not rich, I can't put $40,000 to $50,000 into a piece of rusted out garbage, lubing will not fix these doors. Every piece of metal on this car has to be replaced. Shame on you Matt!! The car is not worth the $1,000 I paid to get it here. I got swindled big time, and it is time for this kind of selling to stop. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I recently purchased a 1965 Mustang on Ebay. I looked at the pictures and emailed and spoke to the seller on the phone. The mustang was described as ready to race. Well when I received the car, there were several problems with it. The suspension on the car was modified by the seller and the left fender is resting on the tire, the headers are also resting on the suspension which if driven will damage the headers, engine and suspension. The brakes do not work and the list goes on. I filed with Ebay Fraud protection because next to the ad it said I was covered up to $20,000. Ebay said I am not covered and they cannot help me. Your Fraud Protection gives the buyer a false sense of security during a purchase. It appears that your fraud protection is in fact fraud itself.Consider me a former customer unless you step up to the plate and take responsibility. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

The mustang is a fun, affordable, daily driver car. I like the design of this vehicle as well as the handling. If your a big person it can be a little tight inside but not too bad. Ford has been making the 5.0 302 motor for decades and it is a very strong and reliable motor providing proper maintenance is done. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
