We decided to buy this wagon because we needed something with the room for four and travel gear. Also wanted to have a car that gets decent gas mileage but has a powerful engine, and in order to get some features such as leather heated seats, Electronic stability, upscale audio system etc we pretty much had to go with the RT model, since most of the six cyl models on the market do not have these features.
i can't really rate reliability yet because I just got the car, but because I don't know how it will perform I looked at warranties.
I bought the car with 1,500 miles remaining on the original warranty, and this is the first time I considered an extended warranty. Bought it through Chrysler/Dodge, since they original manufacturer extended warranty is the least expensive and has the best coverage overall with Maxcare, for 85,000 miles and 7 yrs from the original in-service date. I say this here because many people like myself probably do not check for extended warranties, since they either find them too expensive or feel they are not worth it - I don't know yet if this one will be worth it, but I do know it was only $1,625 and if I do not use it the next four years I will get my money back...
The hemi engine, sporty suspension and styling are my favorite features. The least favorite would be the small rear side windows, as they make it a little harder to see all around, but other than that just some of the interior materials/workmanship could have been a little better - only time will tell how they hold up, though.
