Most popular Chevrolet G20 Van for sale

I bought this vehicle around 2500 with 80K original miles. It's all about how the previous owners used it, and it seems (so far) that I've been very lucky. Of course, buying something like this with no expectation of giving it a little TLC is completely delusional.

The mechanics of the van itself are the picture of reliability. I even goofed on the highway on the way home, switching gears midway at 60 mph by accident, and the whole thing just started right up again! On a bad car, I'd expect the transmission to die instantly. The radio was actually less busted than they described...only the right channel was out.

The interior was a bit worse than planned. Water rot is the bane of all RVs, and it hit the drivers side but good, shredding the panels straight through to the fiberglass on the camper top. It all had to go. After recutting the paneling and refitting the rig, all is well. Let's just hope that window doesn't start leaking again! Also, given the period of manufacture, this van is all carpet and wallpaper. Even by the toilet. Nasty, huh? We're gutting it now and putting in laminate as well as some custom cabinets and paint all over.

It's a bit too early for a thorough review, but this will have to do for now.

This vehicle(van)is great and the seller was very honest about all and the seller was very hospitable. We got the van for a handicapped lady that we need to get around town and the van has a wheelchair lift that works great. We drove the van from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to central Illinois and only used a half tank of gas...very cheap these days! All fluids and oil pressure all stayed in normal perameters. The van drives nicely and comfortably. Great shocks make for a smooth ride.
