Cat's Are know among car dealers as a problem waiting to happen. The catera is a German designed car (you probably know where this is going already) [The European Opel] and the first run of them had quite a few electrical problems (dash lights staying on for an example) and the motors had a few problems. The catera was the previous CTS before the origami style (aimed at a younger generation). Anyways, by the year 2001 all the bugs were worked out but the reputation of the car killed it and they discontinued until the cts in 2003. Bottom line the 2000 or 2001 cateras are the best value for the money. Enjoy!

I paid for this car late after we made a 4500.00 agreement. He was paid the deposit, then refunded it because he got a better offer. I find this unprofessional. I made airfare plans and paid for them and now can't get refund dealer will not tell me why he did this.
