great styling,responsive, handles well, decent fuel mileage. has been basically very reliable. Design was way ahead of its time.

downfall is the automatic top operation which has been problematic; and replacing the faded yellowing rear plastic window has proven expensive, cd/radio sucks. heated seats have failed and cannot be replaced/fixed; cruise control is broken, too.
I am 6'2" with long legs and the vehicle is not big enough for me to extend my legs which makes long trips uncomfortable. You would think a German vehicle would be sized better.

Always one of my favorite shapes, especially with the top down. These are now available at low prices, but beware about repair costs. I do repairs myself, so I could repair all the issues this car had, such as non working license plate lights, no rear thrid brake light, convertible top not moving, and while the dealer quoted over $4000 to get all this fixed, it cost me a total of two afternoons and $40. End result is absolutely worth it.
