1993 Acura Legend: The legend of Acura I actually did not end up purchasing this vehicle. I bid on and totally intended to purchase this vehicle based on the ebay listing including the pictures shown of the vehicle. However, when I went to pick up the vehicle it was apparent this was not the vehicle pictured or described on the listing. I suspect that it had a pirated picture and the vehicle was a total wreck. Contrary to the listing it needed a paint job badly, torn leather interior, rotten floorboards, no A/c. Have been a ebayer for some time now. First time I have been tricked. I bought this vehicle based on the ASSUMPTION that no work would be needed to it. I spoke with the seller prior to purchasing the vehicle, the seller informed me that the car was in perfect mechanical condition and the car was beautiful and that I would LOVE the car, however that was not the case. I took the vehicle to a CERTIFIED acura mechanic. He gave me a laundry list of immediate reapairs that the vehicle needed. I called the seller and informed him of what the mechanic said, he then replied that the CERTIFIED mechanic was wrong and that the vehicle only needed minor repairs. I paid $4600 for the car and the mechanic told me that it would cost close to $3000 I am currently going through a dispute with PAYPAL to either get my money back or get assistance with the repairs for the car. I have been completely dissapointed with the whole ordeal. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I bought my 91 Legend on Ebay 2 years ago from a seller that probably picked it up at an auction. I have my suspicions that it might have come through Katrina. I could tell from the pictures that it had seen better days but only paid $810 for it. I drove from VT to PA to get it and drove it home. I knew within 2 blocks that it needed a drivers side CV joint but it held for the next year. No big deal. The windows were marginal at best, sometimes working sometimes not. No big deal. Stains, dash cracks, paint craze here and there, but with some minor attention it has been a joy. It gets me there smoothly, comfortably, safely and gets better with age. When I got it the check engine light was on. Now it idles at 500 RPM and just purrs. Its a classic looking car that has 230K and will have 300K before the VT salt takes its toll. Id get another in a heart beat. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
